Green Point ("the Company") respects the privacy of the website’s users. This document details how we collect, use, and protect your information, in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and the relevant regulations.
2. What Information Do We Collect?
- Personal details that you provide when registering, purchasing, or contacting us (name, phone, email, address).
- Transaction information — products purchased, prices, shipping details (secure payment details are stored with the payment processors and not with us).
- Technical information — browser type, operating system, IP address, pages you visited, and cookies.
3. Purpose of Using the Information
- Handling orders, shipments, and customer service
- Improving the user experience on the website
- Sending marketing updates (only if you have given explicit consent)
- Complying with legal requirements
4. Sharing Information with Third Parties
We undertake not to sell your details, and not to transfer them to any third party for that party’s own purposes. Information is shared only to the extent required to fulfill the order, provide the service and operate the website, and only with the following parties:
- Shipping companies — solely for the purpose of delivering the product to you
- Secure payment processors — solely for the purpose of processing the payment
- Our customer relationship system (HubSpot) — to store and handle enquiries you submit on the site
- Advertising and measurement services (Meta and Google) — browsing data only; Google receives anonymous, cookieless measurement pings even without consent, and everything else only if you accepted cookies (see section 5)
- Law enforcement authorities — only when we are legally required to do so
5. Cookies
The website uses cookies for proper functioning, usage analysis, and improving the experience. Cookies can be blocked through the browser settings, but doing so may impair some functionality.
The website also uses third-party marketing and measurement cookies — the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and Google Analytics and Google Ads from Google. These tools collect information about your activity on the site (pages and products viewed, items added to the cart, checkout started, purchase completed or details submitted) and send it to Meta and Google, in order to analyse how the site is used, measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show you relevant ads across their networks. The data sent does not include the content of your enquiries or your payment details.
Measurement and marketing cookies are stored only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Until then, and if you chose “Essential cookies only”, the Meta Pixel is not loaded at all and Google Analytics runs in restricted consent mode (Consent Mode): no cookies are stored in or read from your browser, and Google receives only anonymous measurement pings (such as a page view, browser type and approximate country) with no unique identifier, used only to count overall visits and never for personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, and you can manage your ad preferences directly in your Meta and Google account settings.
6. Storage and Security
Information is stored on secure servers. We take accepted security measures, but absolute security on the network cannot be guaranteed.
7. Your Rights
- Access: the right to review the information stored about you.
- Correction: the right to request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion: the right to request deletion of the information (subject to legal obligations).
- Removal from the mailing list: at any time, by clicking the link in emails or contacting us.
